Why standard chitosan always failed — and how we fixed it.
Chitosan is a natural biopolymer extracted from shrimp shell waste. Shrimp processing discards up to half of every animal — the shell — and that waste stream is where our raw material comes from. Chitosan’s antimicrobial and bioactive properties have been documented for more than 40 years. The problem was never the science. It was delivery.
